Verkada Introduction | Access Control & CCTV Architecture Overview

Verkada is a multi-security platform that combines access control, surveillance, and user management. The platform gives admins the opportunity to view/modify the following configurations:

Security Groups
- Manage all Users within the group
Access timeframes
- Can modify the general availability of the areas on the premises
Door schedules
- Can modify the modes of the specific doors within the area:
  - Open
  - Access Control
  - Locked
Camera Access
- Admins can edit/view the following configs:
  - Camera Groups and individual cameras within the groups
  - User privileges with each camera or group
  - Camera storage and upload
  - Camera visibility settings
