CAT-CONNECT DEDICATED PC OVERVIEW | Logging in

GS uses a dedicated PC to run Cat Connect software. The software is used to troubleshoot Heavy Cat Equipment during the repair process by fleet management team. If a login issue transpires, the actions below can be taken to solve the problem.

Power on the laptop, and enter the login page
1. This computer does not require a password to login.
2. To log in:
  1. press enter without submitting a password. You will be logged into the machine.
3. If login is NOT the name of the laptop:
  1. Below the login fields, click "How to connect to another domain"
  2. Within the page, retype the provided name of the machine (Case Sensitive).
  3. Upon fishing, add *\admin* to the end of the computer's name
  4. when finished, press enter to log in to the machine.
